On 05/05/2026 at about 1536 hours, the Alaska State Troopers in Ketchikan contacted and arrested Elizabeth Jackson, age 25 of Ketchikan in the 2400 Block of Tongass Avenue. Jackson had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Ketchikan Courthouse stemming the the original charges of Disorderly Conduct. Jackson was transported and remanded to Ketchikan Correctional Center on her No Bail warrant.

On 05/04/2026 at about 0814 hours, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle collision at mile 13 of the North Tongass Highway. Investigation revealed that a 2020 Honda CRV was headed southbound on the North Tongass Highway when a deer entered the roadway directly in front of the vehicle. The deer was struck and was ultimately found to be deceased at the scene. No injuries were reported and the driver reported wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision. The deer was donated to a charity.

On 05/05/2026 at approximately 1913 hours, Alaska State Troopers conducted a warrant service in the area of Kelcee Ln in Sterling. CAMERON HEMPHILL age 24 of Sterling was located at his residence. The arrest warrant stemmed from a fraud investigation. CAMERON was arrested without incident and remanded to wildwood for his warrant. Original charges were 39 counts of Fraudulent Use of an Access Device and 1 count of Theft in the 2nd.

On 5/4/26 at 1606 hours, State Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a pickup at the Sterling Hwy and Wolverine St. in Soldotna. Investigation led to the arrest of the passenger, Crystal Gail Hollingsworth, 45 of Kasilof, who had multiple warrants for Escape 3rd degree, Violating Conditions, and Probation Violations. Hollingsworth was transported and remanded Wildwood pretrial with a $50K and Court Appointed 3rd Party bail.

Location: Anchor PointType: Burglary 1st degree, Theft 4th degreeDispatch Text:
On 4/26/26 at approximately 1132 hours, Anchor Point AST took the report of a suspicious person entering a residence on Kutafya Rd., just north of Anchor Point. Troopers contacted the registered owner of the property and confirmed no one is allowed to be there. The Trooper secured the outside of the residence and waited for an HPD officer on their way to assist. Once HPD arrived, law enforcement began clearing the inside of the residence. After approximately 25 minutes of searching the dwelling, the described suspect was found hiding beneath a pile of random household objects. The suspect was identified as Cerina P. Richards (29 YOA) of Anchor Point. Subsequent investigation and interviews lead to Richards being arrested for Burglary in the 1st degree and theft in the 4th degree. Richards was booked into Homer Jail without issue with no bail.
On 5/4/26 at approximately 1120 hours, Anchor Point AST obtained a search warrant to search a residence on North Fork Rd. in Anchor Point in relation to the burglary. The self-professed owner of the home and sole occupant at the time was Wade L. Wunderlich (23 YOA) of Anchor Point. During the search 16 firearms, a commercial grade toolbox, collectible coins, fishing gear, and tools were recovered from Wunderlich’s residence. Collectively the value of these stolen items is estimated to be over $25,000. Wunderlich was arrested for Theft in the 1st degree and 16 counts of Theft in the 2nd degree – theft of a firearm. He was remanded at Homer Jail without bail.
Investigation is still ongoing and more charges are possible.

Location: WasillaType: Warrant ArrestDispatch Text:
On 5/5/2026, at approximately 1530 hours, the Alaska State Troopers responded to a residence on Meadow Lakes Loop in Wasilla for a warrant service. AST contacted Sandra Worster, age 35 of Sutton. Sandra had an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation. Sandra was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial where she was remanded and held on a $2,000 bail.

On May 4, 2026, at 2348 hours, AST responded to a reported domestic assault at a residence near Harris Rd. The investigation determined that Vasiliy Donets, who was reportedly intoxicated, physically assaulted a household member. The victim had visible injuries but declined EMS. V. Donets was subsequently arrested and remanded to FCC for DV assault.

On May 5, 2026, at approximately 01:53 hours, AST responded to a residence off of Farmers Loop Road in Fairbanks for a reported assault. Upon investigation the suspect was remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Facility and charged with assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, assault in the third degree (DV), and assault in the fourth degree. The case is currently ongoing.
